For express, in-bay, and full-service washes
A wash is a short visit people repeat every week or two. They will not download an app while the car behind them is waiting, and a paper punch card usually dies in the cup holder. Customers add your card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Staff scan the QR when they pay. No customer account.
This is for wash visits, not multi-hour details. Detail shops can use car detailing loyalty.
It sits in the door pocket, then goes out with the trash. The regular who washes every Saturday has no record of the last seven visits.
Asking for an email and a password at the pay window holds up everyone behind them. People came for a wash, not a new account.
Eight exterior washes should not automatically unlock your most expensive package. The reward has to match the ticket you actually rang up.
A QR at the pay window or on the menu board. Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. No PointsCard app to install.
Open PointsCard, scan the wallet QR, and award the wash or use one credit from a pack.
The pass shows progress toward the reward, or how many prepaid washes remain, before they pull forward.
Examples you can set up, not existing PointsCard customers. Pick a reward your menu can afford.
Express exterior
The free wash matches the service they actually buy. It does not jump them to the top package.
Full service
An add-on you already offer, instead of giving away a complete wash every time.
Weekly commuter
They pay you up front. You load 10 credits. Each scan uses one, and the remaining count stays on the pass. See prepaid packages.
Gift
Load gift credit onto a wallet pass. The recipient shows the QR. No plastic card in the glove box.
Rough share of spend when someone earns a reward after a set number of washes.
No. They add your card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet once. At the next wash they show the QR and staff scan it. There is no customer account and no PointsCard customer app.
Staff scan the wallet QR when they take payment. It takes a few seconds, similar to scanning a payment code. There is no form and no app install at the window.
Yes. The customer pays you the way you already take payment. You load a set number of wash credits on their wallet pass. Each visit scan uses one credit. PointsCard does not bill a monthly membership for you.
Use one visit per paid wash, and make the reward a basic wash or a small add-on such as an interior vacuum. A string of cheap exterior washes then does not unlock your most expensive package.
Yes. The Grow plan supports more than one location, so a customer can show the same wallet pass at a second site.
