How to delete your account
You can permanently delete your PointsCard account at any time from within the app. After deletion, your account and personal data are removed; businesses may retain anonymized redemption history for their records.
Steps to delete your account
- Open the PointsCard app in your browser or mobile device: my.pointscard.app
- Sign in to your account (if you are not already signed in).
- Go to the Account tab (profile icon in the navigation).
- Scroll to the bottom to the Danger zone section.
- Tap Delete account.
- Read the confirmation message, check the box to confirm you understand that your data will be removed, then tap Delete my account.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- Your account (email, name, profile)
- Your points and loyalty card data
- Your visit and redemption history linked to you
Businesses you have visited may keep anonymized records (for example, that a redemption occurred) for their own analytics. Your name and email are not retained in those records.
This cannot be undone
Account deletion is permanent. You will not be able to recover your account or data after deletion. If you want to use PointsCard again later, you will need to create a new account.
